A recent uncomfortable visit to the dentist for a check-up and clean was an incentive to try an electric toothbrush. But would it be yet another 'gizmo' that would find its way to the back of the cupboard? Not a bit of it - my gums have stopped bleeding, my teeth feel and look clean, the timer is great to ensure that one spends the minimum 2 minutes per clean.

I cannot fault it - long intervals between charges, a compact charger,easy access to the corners of the mouth. This toothbrush is sold at a very keen price and I cannot believe that toothbrushes at 3 or 4 times the price can be 3 or 4 times more effective - definitely worth considering! I am a convert, and no, Braun haven't paid me a fee!

NB - It is worth buying the replacement heads in packs of 4 or 8 for significant savings
